lol dont worry im in no real danger, the most dangerous thing that can happen to me is probably to break a finger or something like that by having an artillery bomb(not an active one) falling on me(quite heavy)
but anyways im safe

the weather here is pretty good considering this time of the year which should be mostly hot but maybe its just me here in the airconditioning-in my free time from army-at home

lol heyy i really miss talking to you too but there's not much i can do about it since i'm in my base alot@!# XD

about the safe area, well 3 weeks ago we had a week of city-guarding...
so i was like... patrolling around alot in some dangerous areas just to see that there werent any intruders to that city(well actually its alot smaller than a city-im just not quite sure whats the english word for it)
but you've got nothing to worry about cuz nothing happend, except for maybe hearing the arabs pray at night real loudly(they use microphones and everything) so at first when i wasn't familiar with that i really freaked out and started running all over the place with my gun ready for anything possible(but dont worry- no one innocence can get hurt since we've got some really strict rules about shooting in israel, so unless i see a definite threat for my or anybody else's life, i can never shoot- not that i even want to...)

anyways i finished that quite well and my commander ever since always mentions how that week had improved me both physically and knowledgeably(for stuff that got to do with the army)

two days ago we had our... well damn its hard to explain in english
but i guess you can say- finished the first part of my service as a soldier, which is the training part... and we had a journey(every once in a while we have a thing called a journey to walk with alot of weight on you, each journey is longer then the one before it) we walked 30 kilometers in a raw... so it was kinda long and tiring, but most of all a little hurting in some certain areas of the body(because of the sweat and other stuff that can cause the the body to... not react too well.. XD)
but we finished it really well and all the parents came and done the last kilometer with us and it was lots of fun(if you have a face book you might see pictures of us)
and then we got our new.... well... damn its hart to explain XD
its like a hat... but we rarely use it as a hat we mostly put it on our shoulder. each profession in the army has its unique color to symbolize it. so the commanders took our last hat(green one that all the new recruits get) and gave us turquoise ones(the ones that belong to artillery soldiers[its kinda like using tanks just for a longer range])

and the relations with the commanders now are way more open... and of course now i have a short vacation of 10 days to rest ^___^

anyways.. i'm talking too much how have you been lately? ^^
